This blog post is about the curated e-design board for Andrea's Bedroom, a project that we enjoyed working on with a vintage-style quilt as the starting point. The quilt had a vibrant mix of colors that inspired us to create a balanced and harmonious look for the room. We used the shades of blue, green, and gray from the quilt to select velvet pillows that added texture and coziness to the bed. We also chose black and cream as neutral tones to contrast with the colorful quilt. The leopard print picture above the bed complemented the elegant black and ivory upholstery and brought some personality to the space. We echoed the leopard motif with a lumbar pillow on the blue-patterned accent chair and a dotted lamp on the gray nightstand. The black dresser matched the bed frame and provided ample storage. To soften the room, we added linen curtains and a delicate chandelier that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. We also included a Dililah flower print by Jessica Rose that matched the touch of hot pink in the quilt, adding some charm and interest to the room.
